François Gillet has been a Non-Executive Director since 1992.
Following the departure of our prior Chairman, François Tesch, François Gillet was elected as Non-Executive Chairman in 2023, due to his long-lasting, successful and relevant investment experience at Sofina as well as his extensive service as a Director at Luxempart, heading previously its Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee.
François Gillet has retired from Sofina which he had joined in 1988, where he held various positions before becoming member of the Executive Committee.
François is a sales and management engineer (Louvain School of Management) and has an International Directors Programme Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD.
